Martin Scorcese Facing Lawsuit From Former Nurse Over Dog Attack

Legendary Hollywood director Martin Scorcese is facing a lawsuit filed by a home nurse who was allegedly attacked by his dog. The lawsuit alleges that Scorcese and his wife allowed their dog to “approach, menace, attack and bite” the plaintiff while she was working as a nurse at their residence. The lawsuit filed in Bronx Supreme Court alleges that the plaintiff attempted to escape the dog’s attack and fell, hurting her neck and back. The defendants were “negligent, careless and reckless and grossly negligent in the ownership, operation, management, maintenance, supervision, use and control of the aforesaid dog,” says the complaint.  Kerry Burke, Chelsia Rose Marcius, Adam Shrier and Victoria Bekiempis, New York Daily News  06/01/2018.
